The National Endowment for the Humanities website, Edsitement, has an extensive list of lesson plans that could be used in Humanities, English, Government, Civics, Geography, Art. and History classrooms.  Browsing the topics is easy. Also, each of the "closer readings" is tagged with a topic for easier searching. (*****)

PBS Learning Media is a fantastic resource for any teacher.  You can browse the website by core standard, subject, grade level and type of media.  Another tool listed on the bottom of the webpage is "Productivity Tools for Teachers".  This area of the website features a lesson builder, quiz makers storyboard and puzzle builder.(*****)

ReadWriteThink has great templates for reading and writing activities.  If you need a Venn Diagram or graphic organizer, this is a good place to start.  The website also has many lesson plans in a variety of subjects. (*****)
